Ninth Day of Christmas - January 3

During these last few days of Christmastide, let me tell you some of my favorite stories. Each one has a specific focus which is a theme for our journey from the old year to the new.

The first tale is a Janus-like tale, looking at the duality of all creation, especially the ones we discover in our own lives.  We are always pulled between This and That.  One or the Other.  And yet we yearn so much for wholeness.  We want not to be divided by our thoughts, our passions, or loyalties.  We want to become whole and live the undivided life.

Here is the story, a favorite of mine.  I have not yet transcribed this soundfile, so there is no written version of the tale.
